February 27 + 28 | Teachers Convention KIDS Learn to Cook + Seed Starting

Whether you are new to the kitchen, looking for new ideas in the kitchen or an experienced home cook there is something to learn in this class We are so excited to introduce this six week master class. We believe that these longer classes offer more opportunity to learn and connect in the kitchen, as wonderful conversations are no doubt a part of each week. Each week you will receive a little gift from us – from kitchen kit to ingredients to the perfect market shopping bag. A meal will be provided each day.

DAY 1 | February 27 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

In this class we will talk about all things seed starting - we will start 3 flower seeds and 3 vegetable seeds for each student to take home and nurture. We will talk about the benefits of having a backyard garden and how food grown in healthy soil tastes more delicious! We will talk about compost and growing good clean food. We will make lunch together in this class - alfredo with veggies and dip. 

DAY 2 | February 28 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

In this class we will spend time in the kitchen talking about safety, hygiene and learning to chop. We'll make chicken noodle soup and the perfect biscuit, angel food cake and more.
