Rhubarb - one of the first tastes of spring. When rhubarb come into season in Alberta we catch ourselves using it in almost everything. In this class we will work together to create several rhubarb recipes including savoury rhubarb sauce, rhubarb ketchup, rhubarb cordial and shrub, a rhubarb coffee cake, rhubarb tart, rhubarb jam and more. How to freeze it and recipes to use up frozen rhubarb. Included in this class is the hands on class with instruction, a recipe pack with bonus asparagus recipes, dinner with wine and a pound of fresh asparagus to take home.
