We feel so grateful to have the Green and Gold Garden right across the street from Awn. If you don't know about this non-profit organic garden, it's a gem in the heart of our city. We'll meet at Awn at 5:45 and walk over to the garden (a short 10 minute walk) and tour the garden with one of the volunteers, as we tour, we'll be sure to grab lots of delicious veggies from the garden which we'll bring back to Awn to cook a summer feast. This menu will not be vegetarian and will be seasonally inspired by what is available to us at the garden - which varies year to year. A portion of the profits of this class go directly to the garden to support them in buying seeds, tools, equipment etc.
Included in this class is dinner with wine, a hands-on class with instruction and a thorough recipe pack that includes bonus recipes and a section on sourcing ingredients.
