January 11 + 18 | Learn to Knit + Lunch at Awn

I am so excited to have Deb in the workshop teaching knitting! This class requires no previous experience, you will learn the basics of knitting and each participant will knit a cowl. Included in this class is a hands on class with instruction from Deb, all of the equipment and wool needed for the class, lunch both days provided by Awn and a recipe pack to take home.

Class time 11:30am - 2:00pm both Saturday, January 11 and January 18.

About Deb:

I have been knitting for about 20 years. I try to knit every day and my favourite project is socks.

I taught Learn to Knit classes at a local yarn shop for over 12 years. I also instructed Knit in the Round - Toques, Mittens, First Sweater and Socks. My favourite part of teaching is witnessing how people feel when they “get it”.

I look forward to helping you learn a new skill, a great way to relax (eventually) and the ability to create!
